I help my clients create soul-aligned businesses that feel fulfilling, purposeful, and authentic.
I believe we're all here to evolve, and that one of the greatest ways we can serve others is by teaching others what we’ve learned through our own transformation.
I’ve been on this business journey for a while now, and the magic started when I understood that my entrepreneurial journey is also my spiritual journey.
As business owners, our business success reflects us. If we have an inner state of lack, then our business will show that. If we have an inner state of abundance, then our business will show that. There’s always a new level to crack open, and it starts with our internal work.
How I Got Here
I studied sociology at Wesleyan University and began my career in the workforce development nonprofit world, connecting low-income communities to jobs and job training. I went on to earn my Master's in Public Policy from the University of Southern California, intending to create policies that could help restructure the way resources are allocated.
Life had other plans.
My first job in the private sector was in branding and marketing, where I discovered how much I loved storytelling and understanding what people wanted and finding ways to communicate that in a way that truly connected with them. That eventually led me to a small business incubator, where I had the opportunity to work alongside inspiring social entrepreneurs.
And my perspective shifted.
I began to see entrepreneurship as a powerful tool for creating change. When someone can identify their unique gifts, communicate their value, and build something around those gifts, they aren't just creating a business. They're creating a life that is their own.
That is my sweet spot. Helping people identify their personal genius, communicate its value, and bring it into the world is deeply connected to what I believe I'm here to do.
The Business Doula
When I'm not supporting soulpreneurs in birthing or growing their businesses, I'm a birth doula. Hence, all the birthing language.
I like to think of myself as a business doula - someone who helps entrepreneurs birth new ideas and businesses, while holding space for them through the an often messy process of bringing those ideas into reality.
Because I've learned that creating something new can be both exhilarating and uncomfortable. Sometimes you need strategy. Sometimes you need clarity. Sometimes you need someone to remind you what you already know. And sometimes you just need someone in your corner while you figure it out.
You don't have to do it alone.
Ready to Create What’s Calling to You?
Do you have a business idea that's been living somewhere deep down in your soul?
Or maybe you already have a business and know it's ready to evolve.
I'd love to hear about it.
With care,
Emily
